Claire Foster is a writer, reader, and literary translator from French. She is also the manager of Type Books, where she works as a bookseller and events coordinator.
Her writing and translations have appeared in the Cleveland Review of Books, The Kenyon Review, The Hopkins Review, & elsewhere.
With Kevin Greenspan, she co-hosts Paradise Book Club at Paradise Theatre, a bi-monthly film and book club (via Type Books) series. She also plays violin in the Greater Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, she lives and works in Toronto.
